Understanding the Difference Between the Conscious and Subconscious Mind

Many people are familiar with these terms, but few truly understand the power of these two aspects of our mind. Let's dive in!

Conscious Mind

The conscious mind is the part of our mind that we use to make decisions, analyze information, and take action. It's the part of our mind that we're aware of, that we use to think, reason, and process information. When we're conscious, we're in control of our thoughts and actions.

Scientific Fact: According to a study published in the journal Neuron, the conscious mind is responsible for only a fraction of the brain's overall processing power, with estimates ranging from 5%-10%.

Subconscious Mind

The subconscious mind is the part of our mind that operates below the surface of our conscious awareness. It's responsible for our automatic responses, habits, and beliefs. Our subconscious mind is always active, even when we're asleep, and it influences our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

The subconscious mind is like a computer program that runs in the background, controlling our thoughts and actions without us even realizing it. It's responsible for our intuition, creativity, and inspiration. The subconscious mind is also where our memories and emotions are stored. This consists of up to 93% to 97%.

When we want to make changes in our life, such as breaking a bad habit or achieving a new goal, it's important to work with both the conscious and subconscious mind. We need to consciously set our goals and take action, but we also need to reprogram our subconscious mind to support those goals.

Scientific Fact: According to research by neuroscientists, the subconscious mind processes information at a rate of up to 11 million bits per second, while the conscious mind only processes information at a rate of up to 50 bits per second.

The conscious and subconscious mind are two powerful aspects of our mind that work together to shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By understanding the difference between the two, we can learn to work with both aspects of our mind to achieve our goals, overcome our limiting beliefs, and create the life we desire.

Remember, your thoughts become your reality, and by working with both your conscious and subconscious mind, you can create a reality that aligns with your desires. Thank you for joining us today, and we wish you all the best on your journey of personal growth and transformation!

I hope this helps,
